Fails if: A company's 4 Week Relative Price Performance trails its Adjusted 13 Week Price Performance.

The 13 week relative price performance percentage has been adjusted by:
- Removing the impact of the most recent 4 weeks.
- Adjusting the total by 35% in order to prevent normal price fluctuation from causing a company to fail this test.

This is a sensitive test. It seeks not just stocks that are experiencing more bearish sentiment but also those featuring less bullish sentiment than had been the case in the recent past.

The test may produce a Fail for stocks that does not necessarily warrant action. Many of these stocks could be considered strong buys. For aggressive investors this test is most proficient at providing early warnings.

Remember, relative price momentum is being evaluated relative to the stock's industry average so it will often reveal the impact of intra-industry rotation where the spotlight is starting to shift from your stock to one or more others. Accordingly, this test should encourage you to determine if this is the case by conducting additional industry level inquiry.
